Nelda Farus

Nelda Farus, 92, passed away at 8:56 am, Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Emergency Room. Nelda was born September 17, 1920 in Blue Rock, the daughter of the late Hiram and Nellie (Echelberry) Watts. Nelda was a graduate of the Meredith Business College, a retired bookkeeper for Southern Equipment Company, she was a past member of the former Sugar Grove Methodist Church and a member of Rolling Plains United Methodist Church. Surviving is her husband of 66 years, Raymond Farus whom she married June 21, 1947; her daughter Marla (David) Morris of Zanesville and a son Larry (Mary) Farus of Zanesville; her grandchildren Jeff (Julie) Farus, Jennifer (Greg) Murrey, Susan (Chad) Brown, and John (Molly) Morris and; her great grandchildren are Caitlin Farus, Scott Farus, Grant Murrey, Garrett Murrey, Joseph Brown, Reece Morris, Isabel Morris and Ryan Morris and her brother Wilbur (Ada Mae) Watts of Duncan Falls. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers Lee Watts and Elvin Watts. Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls where funeral will be 10 am on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, with Pat Wiseman-Jones officiating.
