Nancy was born on January 25, 1938, in Zanesville. She is the daughter of the late Herbert L. and Dorothy F. (McNeal) Krier. Above all, Nancy treasured the time she spent with her loved ones, holding those moments closest to her heart.

Nancy is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-eight years, Richard “Dick” F. MacLaine, whom she married on October 18, 1957; her children, Julie A. Higgins of Dallas, Texas, Timothy R. MacLaine of Columbus, Ohio, and Suzanne (Dan) G. Myrice of Perrysburg, Ohio; her grandchildren, Nicholas Edwards of Newark, John Leedom and Ella Leedom of Perrysburg; her great-granddaughter, Alexandria; as well as a few cousins and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Dillard Higgins.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Shriver’s Hospice and the Highland Oaks staff for their kind and compassionate care towards Nancy.

In keeping with Nancy’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place and a private burial will be held in Duncan Falls Cemetery. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the MacLaine family.
