Myron “Red” Wilson,72, passed away at 3:22 am on Friday, February 26, 2016, at Adams Lane Care Center.

Red was born February 3, 1944 in Zanesville to the late Thomas and Sarah Thompson Wilson. He worked  for United Technology, Halliburton, Norwich Stone and Gravel, and most recently was a church custodian. He was an avid reader about World War II, enjoyed bird watching and cared very much for all animals. He was a member of the Rhema House of Worship where you would find him near the front of the church praising God. He always had a smile and a joke and will be remembered for his ability of making people laugh. Red served his country in the Army  with the 3rd Infantry Division and spent 30 months in Germany during the Cold War.

Red is survived by his wife Linda Sprankle Wilson whom he married Feb 11, 1966, and his two dogs Sophie and Chantay.

In addition to his parents his is preceded in death by a son Timothy, three brothers Tom, Larry and Jim Wilson, and a sister Marilyn Caldwell.

Visitation will be at the Rhema House of Worship in Roseville, Monday (Feb 29, 2016) from 11 to 1 and the funeral will follow at 1 pm with the Pastor Wes Kidwell officiating and burial will be in St Paul Cemetery.
