Myron Mautz

Myron F. Mautz, 76, of Blue Rock passed away at 4:12 am on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at the Morrison House Genesis Hospice. Myron was born October 8, 1937 in Roseville to the late Ralph and Anna Zeigler Mautz. He worked at the Ohio Ferro Alloy until its closing and retired from Shelley and Sands. Surviving is his wife Dian ne (Wright) Mautz of the home. A son Matt (Linda) Mautz of Blue Rock. His grandchildren are Brody (Melissa) Mautz and Justin (Britney) Mautz, and a great granddaughter Elyse Mautz. His three brothers are Earl (Sue) Mautz of Greenhill (near Cincinnati), Wilburt (Winnie) Mautz of Sandusty, and John (Sherry) Mautz of Newark. Serveral nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother and sister in law Gene and Irene Mautz, a brother James Mautz. His father and mother in law Albert (Sonnie) and Joanne Norman. Friends may call at the Farus Funeral Home on Wednesday (Feb 26, 2014) from 4 to 7 where the funeral will be at 7 pm following calling hours with the Rev Tim Patton and Artie Dannison officiating.
