Michael Emerson Swingle

Michael “Mike” E. Swingle, 73 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at Cedar Hill Nursing Home on Thursday, August 14, 2025.

Mike was born on March 19, 1952, in Zanesville. He is the son of the late Melvin and Clara (Besser) Swingle. Mike earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work. He retired as the Executive Director of Pressley Ridge in Pennsylvania.

Mike is survived by his brother, Larry Swingle of Philo; his niece, Melissa (Kenny) Ogg; as well as several great-nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with Mike’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Swingle family.
