Michael Richardson

Michael “Mike” S. Richardson went to Heaven on December 3, 2023, following an extended stay at the Beckett House in New Concord. He was born on May 6, 1961 in Guernsey County.

Mike is preceded in death by his father, Harold L. Richardson Sr.; his brother, Harold “JR” L. Richardson; as well as his grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Mike is survived by his mother, Mary Lou (Kiggans) Richardson; his daughter, Allison (Nathan) Bence; his three brothers, Mark Richardson, Matt (April) Richardson, and Mickey (Janna) Richardson; his special nieces and nephews, Kayla (Jerry) Wheeler, Kolt (Kelsey Polen) Richardson, Jordan (Alyssa Turner) Wheeler, Jayde Wheeler, Luke (Lauren) Richardson, Ben Richardson, Marianne Richardson, Lydia Richardson, Ryan Boyer, Lara Richardson, Keely (Tyler) Bond; and many, many friends.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to his cousin Polly Kiggans for all the help and care she gave to Mike, and his special aunt and uncle June and David Adams. They would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Beckett House for caring for Mike, and to Farus Funeral Home.

In keeping with Mike’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place. The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for the Richardson family.
