Michael "Mike" Hilterbrand, 55, of Chandlersville, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026, at Beckett House in New Concord.

Mike was born in Zanesville on February 18, 1971, to Jeanette (Stewart) Hilterbrand and the late Larry Lee Hilterbrand.

For many years, Mike worked as a painter with Troy Tom Painting. In his younger years, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, riding his ATV, camping, fishing, and both playing and watching baseball. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and the time he shared with family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Mike is survived by his siblings, Teresa (Tracy) Tom and Jeff Hilterbrand; his nieces and nephews, Trevor Tom, Taylor (Jessica) Tom, Kailea (B.J.) Parrish, and Cheznei Hilterbrand; and his great-nieces and great-nephew, Kali, Mya, and Colson Parrish.

The Hilterbrand family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff of the Beckett House in New Concord for the wonderful care of Mike.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Rich Hill Cemetery in Chandlersville. Pastor Eddie Warne will officiate.
