Martha Jane Miller

Martha “Jane” Miller, 73 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends and under the care of Shriver’s Hospice.

Jane was born on June 7, 1949 in Zanesville.  She is the daughter of Nora (Stotts) Davis of Zanesville and the late William “Bill” Davis.  She was a 1967 graduate of West Muskingum High School. She started her working career at the Metropolitan Insurance Company in Zanesville, she worked several years for the Longaberger Company in their corporate office.  She was a cosmetologist for several years.  She retired from the Offinger Management Company.  She enjoyed traveling, camping, and doing crafts with her best friends, Patti and Mike Roberts.  She loved taking care of her dogs, and most especially she loved watching her granddaughter, Rylei “Smidge” play softball.

In addition to her mother, Jane is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bud Miller, whom she married December 26, 1970; her son, Brad (Pam Huhn) Miller; Tami Miller, whom she thought of as a daughter; her granddaughter, Rylei “Smidge” Miller; her brothers, Joe (Susan) Davis and Paul Davis; and Patti Roberts, whom she thought of as a sister.

A gathering of friends will take place from 1 to 3 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.  A celebration of Jane’s life will be held at 3 pm with Pastor Don Harris officiating.
