Martha R. Davis

Martha Roseann Davis, 75 of Chandlersville, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2022 at Altercare of Zanesville.

Martie was born in Zanesville on January 19, 1949.  She is the daughter of William W. and Edith (Daw) Stutes.  She worked as a beautician for a few years and also as a school bus attendant while living in Florida.  She loved sewing, she especially enjoyed quilting.  She is a member of Mount Sterling Methodist Church.

Martie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Steve Davis whom she married November 9, 1968; her son, Robert W. (Melody) Davis, her daughter, Julie (Joe) Hersey; her three granddaughters, Madison Hersey, Megan Davis, and April Davis; her brother, David (Sarah) Stutes; her sister, Emily (Tom) Myers.

In addition to her parents, Martie is preceded in death by her brother, Myron Stutes.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring, the date will be announced.  The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Davis family.
