Martha M. Brannon, 95 of Duncan Falls, passed away at 1:55 pm Friday, October 10, 2014 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. Martha was born in Duncan Falls on February 11, 1919 the daughter of the late Henry and Carrie (Hock) Neff. Martha was Methodist by faith, she graduated from Philo High School in 1937 and from the Meredith Business College. She was the owner and operator of Brannon's CafAC. in Duncan Falls for numerous years and she is the last remaining of the six original founders of the Starlight School in Zanesville. Martha is survived by her children Gail (Jim) Miller of Pickerington, James 'Jim' (Debbie) Brannon of Duncan Falls and Jeff (Dixie) Brannon of Zanesville; her eight grandchildren Ben (Lura) Brannon, Bruce (Misty) Brannon, Carrie (Jim) Stant, Brent 'Bub' (Tanya) Brannon, Matt (Kayla) Brannon and Nick Brannon, Tiffany (Justin) Hall and Jamie (Nancy) Miller, her 6 great-grandchildren and her sister-in-law Betty Jones and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her husband Bruce Brannon who passed away October 30, 1977, her daughter Amber Brannon and her sister Mary Fulk. Visitations will be 6 to 8 pm Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the Farus Funeral Home where funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
