Mark A. Wyatt

Mark A. Wyatt, 59 of Chandlersville, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

Mark was born on September 17, 1965, in Zanesville. He is the son of Jerry A. Wyatt and the late Margaret A. (Bush) Wyatt. He graduated from Maysville High School in 1983 and went on to serve his country with pride in the United States Army National Guard. Throughout his career, he worked for Federal Heating and Cooling, Advanced Heating and Cooling, and the Dollar General Distribution Center.

Mark had a deep love for music, often playing his guitar, and he never missed watching a football game or a NASCAR race. An avid outdoorsman and devoted animal lover, he found joy in the companionship of his beloved dog, Charlie. However, his greatest pride and happiness came from being a father to his son, Chase.

In addition to his father, Mark is survived by his son, Chase Wyatt; his siblings, Kisha (Kevin) Corson and Jeremy (Lori) Wyatt; the mother of his son, Cheryl Wyatt; his parents-in-law, Connie and Bob Peterson; his sister-in-law, Amy Peterson; his brothers-in-law, Jeff (Belinda) Peterson and Greg (Debbie) Peterson; his beloved dog, Charlie; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

In addition to his mother, Mark is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Helen and Roy Bush; as well as his paternal grandparents, Geraldine and Chauncey Wyatt.

Visitations will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Visitations will also be held from 12 pm to 1 pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm following the visitations. Pastor Lisa Jenkins will officiate the service. Mark will be laid to rest near his mom in Poplar Forks Cemetery in Gratiot. Full Military Honors will be provided by the George Selsam Post #1058.
