Margaret L. Driggs, 87 of Duncan Falls went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at The Oaks at Northpointe.
Margaret was born in Perry County on February 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Keith and Mabel (Barringer) King. She worked as a nurse’s aide for Good Samaritan Hospital and she worked at the Sweet Shop in White Cottage. She was a faithful member of the Duncan Falls Baptist Church and she cherished the time she got to spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her five children Garry (Connie) Driggs of Zanesville, Rodney Driggs of Circleville; Sheila (Jim) Amrine of Thurston; Regina Price of Zanesville and Becky (Jeff) Dingey of Blue Rock, 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson.
In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Rodney Ray Driggs who passed away October 5, 2014; her brother Kenneth King, her sister Louella Taylor, her brother-in-law Roy Taylor and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday with Pastor Gerry Wade officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband of 68 years in Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
