Lynn W. Frazier

Lynn W. Frazier, age 71, of Philo and formerly of Chandlersville, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024, at Genesis Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on June 24, 1953, in Zanesville, he was the son of Leonard F. and Betty F. (Sells) Frazier. Lynn worked for United Technologies in maintenance and as a welder until its closure, then continued his career as an over-the-road truck driver for several companies before retiring from POHL Transportation. Lynn was passionate about sports, especially coaching girls' softball, and also enjoyed umpiring games. He loved golfing, watching football and cheering for the Cleveland Browns. He was a member of Chandlersville Methodist Church and Gage and Gavel F&AM #448.

Lynn is survived by his wife of 50 years, Della (Archibald) Frazier, whom he married on March 25, 1974; his daughters, Lynne Frazier and Betty Daniel; his son, Alan (Michelle) Frazier; grandchildren, Nancy Elmore, Robby Elmore, Jackie (Casey Mangold) Daniel, Rhea Daniel, Alaina Frazier, and Raider Frazier Skeens; his great-grandson, Jack Allen Daniel; his brother and sister-in-law, Emmett (Bib) Frazier; and his mother-in-law, Helen Archibald.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Richard Archibald, and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Todd and Darla Spring.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Eddie Warne officiating. Lynn will be laid to rest in Mount Zion Cemetery in Chandlersville.
