Lyman Grant Bailey

Lyman Grant Bailey Sr., of Zanesville, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on January 3, 2019, he was 73 years old.

Lyman was born in Cannelville on February 8, 1945.  He is the son of Lyman Grant Bailey and Virginia Whitehead.  He worked for Kroger Warehouse and ANR Freight.  He enjoyed camping, watching sports including the Cleveland Browns and he loved animals and spending time with his family.

Lyman is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sheila (West) Bailey; his two sons, Lyman “Buddy” (Jenn) Bailey and David (Lisa) Bailey; his three grandchildren, Rebecca, Emily and Katie Bailey; his four great-grandchildren, Addyson, Alayna, Paxton and Robert; his siblings, Roger Bailey, Ginny Bailey, Della Bailey, Darlene Bailey, Debbie West, TJ Bailey.

In addition to his parents, Lyman is preceded in death by his siblings, Jim Buck “James”, Walter, Barb, Mahalia.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 2 to 4 on Sunday, January 6, 2019 and from 11 to 1 pm on Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be 1 pm on Monday. Pastor Joe Dunlap will officiate the service.  He will be laid to rest in the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
