Lydia Jane Brown

Lydia Jane Brown, 85 of Fresno, Ohio, went peacefully to be with the Lord, on August 14, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at her home.

Lydia was born in Stow, Ohio on February 5, 1937.  She is the daughter of the late Harry and Lydia (Hamman) Edminister.  She was strong in her faith, enjoyed gardening, and taking care of her flowers.  She was an avid puzzle enthusiast, but most especially she loved spending time with her husband and family.

Lydia is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, William E. Brown whom she married October 20, 1956; her six children, Laura (Brian) Apperson, Tammy (Dan) Edminister, Barbara Rine, Lisa Brown, Brian (Julia) Brown, and Michael Brown; her fourteen grandchildren; and her sixteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Lydia is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ashley Del Toro; her son-in-law, Ramiro Del Toro; her siblings, Doretta Keenan, Harry Edminister Jr., Eugene Edminister, Patricia McAdams.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Lydia’s name to the Fresno Bible Church, 24629 OH-93, Fresno, OH 43824.

A memorial service will be held at the family farm on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 3pm.  Anyone wanting to come share memories and celebrate Lydia’s life is welcome at 51849 Twp. RD. 186, Fresno, Ohio. The Farus Funeral Home is caring for the Brown Family.
