Louella Marie Neptune

Louella Marie Neptune passed away on Wednesday, January 20th while in the care of Genesis Healthcare in Zanesville, she was 75 years old.  She was born in Roseville, Ohio on November 18th, 1940 to Ralph and Bernice Hina.  Louella worked in the office at Production Credit for 35 years, as well as the Guernsey County Treasurer’s Office for 15 years. She enjoyed golfing, reading romance and mystery novels (even though she always read the endings first), swimming and doing water aerobics with the Silver Sneakers, traveling to Florida, working on her farm, and was a proud member of the Eastern Star.  Most importantly, Louella cherished her family, they were her world, and she especially enjoyed spending her time with her beloved children & grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents, as well as her brother, Dale Hina.  She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 56 years, Ted Neptune, their children, Debbie (Bill) Smith, Pam (Steve) Davis, Bill (Teresa) Neptune, and Sherry (Rusty) Pennell, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, her sister, Diane (David) West, and many in-laws, friends, and former co-workers.

Friends and Family are welcome to attend calling hours on Friday, January 22nd at the Rix Mills Church of New Concord from 11-12 Noon.  Services will begin promptly at Noon, and will follow with a burial at Mt Zion Cemetery.  Pastor Jim Gibson will officiate services.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Central Ohio Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, located at 740 Lakeview Plaza Blvd Ste 225, Worthington, OH 43085.  Farus Funeral Home of New Concord has been entrusted to care for the family.
