Lori Sue Garcia

Lori Sue Garcia, age 60, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 2, 2019, at Saint Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on February 6, 1959 at Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio to Robert and Margaret Tom. Lori was a devout Christian, maintaining her faith throughout her life. She was a sweet, gentle person and a wonderful mother, grandma and friend. Lori enjoyed gardening, sitting by a bonfire and listening to country music. She loved the beach, as well as the farm she grew up on. She is survived by her sons, Cory (Karly) Garcia and Justin (Amanda) Garcia, daughter Kaleigh (Brian) Donnamiller, her significant other, Ron Monson, grandson, Parker Garcia, brothers Dana (Debbie) Tom and Ray (Chris) Tom. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margaret (Neptune) Tom. Calling hours will be at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Friday, September 6, 2019, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM and Saturday, September 7, 2019, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Farus Funeral Home, in New Concord, Ohio, where her funeral service will be on Saturday at 11:00AM, with Pastor Jim Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Salt Creek Cemetery in Chandlersville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
