Lois A. Weisent

Lois A. Weisent, 89 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2021 at Genesis Hospital.

Lois was born in Bridgeport, Ohio on July 9, 1932.  She is the daughter of the late Albert and Alberta Lois (Staley) Nunner.  She was a 1951 graduate of Philo High School. She graduated from the Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Zanesville. She worked for many years for various hospitals as a kind, compassionate, and caring Registered Nurse.

Lois is survived by her cousin, Rick Staley; her special friend, Carla “Susie” Ferarra; and many friends and family members.

In addition to her parents, Lois is preceded in death by her husband Ray Weisent who passed away in 2004; her two sisters, Dollie Jenkins who passed away in 2016, and Barbara Boals who passed away in 1998; and her nephew William Timothy Boals who passed away in 2010.

An outside funeral service will take place at 2 pm on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the graveside in Duncan Falls Cemetery with Pastor Steve Harrop officiating.  The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Weisent family.
