Lloyd T. McQuain passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, October 11th, 2017 while in the loving and comforting presence of his family, he was 63 years old.  He worked for many years as a machinist at Cambridge Tool and Dye.  Lloyd loved spending time with his family, and doted on his children and grandchildren; whom he spoiled with every opportunity.  He was an avid Pepsi drinker; he also took great pleasure in the time he spent outdoors, and could often be found camping, fishing, woodworking, or farming.  He is preceded in death by his father, his daughter, Sara Rose McQuain, Homer McQuain, and his Step-father, James Dady.

Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Della May (Harris) McQuain, his three daughters, Jennifer (Rickey) Schaefer, Kimberly (Billy) Danford, and Katherine (Justin) McQuain.  He will be deeply missed by his 6 grandchildren including, Amanda, Breanna, Emilee, Ashlee, Ashtyn, and Paityn; his mother, Charlott Rose Dady, his brother, Ron (Pat) McQuain, brother, Jesse (Lori) McQuain, brother, Charlie (Karen) McQuain, sister, Wilma (Jim) Fite, his step-brother, Dave (Mandy) Dady, step-sister, Debbie (Brian) Wixtrom, step-sister, Rita Dusenberry, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, family, and fur babies.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours for Lloyd at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord on Monday, October 16th, 2017 from 2 to 4:30PM.  Services will begin at 4:30, with Rickey Schaefer and Tom Elliot officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to help defer the funeral costs.
