Linda Sue Work, age 72, of Blue Rock, passed away, through no fault of her own, due to a tragic car accident on Monday, July 13, 2026. She was born on April 24, 1954 to the late Bill and Ina (Anderson) Komaromy in Zanesville, OH.

Linda loved feeding and watching the hummingbirds in her yard. She loved animals of all kinds, often visiting her friends and family just to say hello to their pets and animals. Linda enjoyed watching her flowers bloom and going to lunch with friends.

She is survived by her brothers, Mike (Jenny) Komaromy and Kevin (Kelley) Komaromy; nieces, Michelle (Dominic) Shaw and Kimberly (Casey) Lynch; and nephew Kyle (Lauren) Komaromy. She also leaves behind many great nieces and nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents and grandparents, Linda is preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Work who passed away March 5, 2015.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls. Family will greet friends from 11am to 1pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Services will be officiated by Pastor Steve Harrop. Linda will be laid to rest next to her husband at Duncan Falls Cemetery.
