Linda D. Metz

Linda D. Metz, 67, of Norwich, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2024, at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

Born on May 31, 1957, in Zanesville, Linda was the daughter of the late John Sr. and Grace (Bench) Crawford. She earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Findley. Linda dedicated over 27 years to Zane State College, managing the bookstore for more than 20 years and working in accounts payable for the rest of her tenure. She was an animal lover, and loved spending time with her two border collies. She also enjoyed reading and watching sunsets.

Linda is survived by her husband, David Metz, whom she married on July 21, 2000; four children: Lindsay Dacre, Andrew (Danielle) Metz, Mackenzie Dacre, and Emily Nestor. She also leaves behind her granddaughter, Ava, and grandson, Noah and her surviving siblings include Debbie (Rick) Neff and Grace Bertini.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brothers John and David Crawford, and her sisters Mary Ann Tom and Patsy Crawford.

In accordance with her wishes, Linda will be cremated, and no services will be held at this time. The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is honored to assist the Metz family during this time.
