Linda K. Thompson, 76 of Philo, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the Cedar Hill Nursing Home.

She was born on October 30, 1949, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Doyle A. and Helen L. (Arnold) Stackhouse.

Linda worked at the Howard Street Pick-n-Save as a deli clerk for twenty-five years before retiring in 2019, as well as Philo Pizza in her earlier years. She loved playing BINGO with her sisters, and scratch-offs.

She cherished every opportunity to be present for her grandchildren and treasured the simple moments spent together. Linda was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by the ones she leaves behind.

Linda is survived by her three beloved daughters, Lori Anders, Jessica (Paul) Brandom, and Erin (Kristofferson) Bonilla; grandchildren, Alexis (Davie) Bell, Timothy Brandom, Presllie Bonilla, Jack Bonilla, and Johnny Bonilla; great-grandchildren, Kyrsten, Chloe, and Kaydance; great-great-grandchildren, Kyden Marie, Kaiser, Kisean, as well as two on the way; brother and sister, Tim (Kim) Stackhouse and Janee (Rod) Mahon; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her first husband, Harry W. Hartman, who passed away on August 28, 2020; her second husband, John “Jack” V. Thompson, who passed away on January 28, 2016; siblings, Nancy, Shelby, Dennis, and Barbara.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 2 PM on August 22, 2026, at the American Legion Hall at 16 Bridge Street in Duncan Falls, Ohio, 43734.
