Lewis Anthony Ayres

Lewis Anthony Ayres, 64 of Buckeye Lake, passed away following a brief illness on June 24, 2019 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark.  Lewis was born in Zanesville on September 6, 1954.  He is the son of Dolores Ayres of Zanesville and the late Hershel Ayres.  He retired as an over the road truck driver.  He loved riding motorcycles and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Lewis is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Blythe) Ayres, whom she married March 1, 2005; his son, Tim (Amy) Ford; John (Becky) Jenkins, Moneatha (Robbie) Sanchez; his grandchildren, Timmie, Colton, Trinity, Zachary and Michael; one great-grandson, Greycen.  In addition to his father, Lewis is preceded in death by a special sister-in-law, Donna “Doodle-Bug” Blythe.

Visitation will be 1 to 3 pm on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.  Funeral services will be held at 3 pm with Pastor Eric Gibson officiating.
