Leona “Jeanie” Anderson, 70 of Lewisville, gained her Angel wings on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Leona was born on September 24, 1955, in Zanesville. She is the daughter of the late Ellsworth “Bunt” and Hazel (Kimble) Wickham.

She worked for Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell as a nurse’s aide until her retirement in 2018. In her free time, Leona enjoyed attending yard sales and flea markets. She collected Charlie Brown figurines.

Leona is survived by her estranged husband, George “Butch” Anderson, whom she separated from in September of 2011, but have remained good friends since; her four children; her sister-in-law and caretaker, Teresa Wickham; her best-friend, Brenda Ramsey; her fluffy dog, Faith; as well as several cherished nieces including Bonnie Hampton, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

In addition to her parents, Leona is preceded in death by her brother and best friend, Kenneth Wickham; as well as her sisters, Barbara Wickham and Beulah Starcher.

In keeping with Leona’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Anderson family.
