Lee Hammer

Beryl LeeOna Warne Hammer, 85 of New Concord, passed away peacefully at Middleton Assisted Living on Saturday, March 2, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Bill Hammer.

She is survived by their three children, William M. of Council Bluffs, IA, StevenT. (Carla) of Hebron, OH and Lisa Deaton (Bud) of Pataskala, OH.

She is also survived by  5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

She was a long-time member of New Concord Methodist Church, and she had been employed by Muskingum College, and retired as Village Clerk of New Concord.  She had been active in Professional Secretaries and Eastern Star.

She enjoyed attending school activities at JGHS and watching the Buckeyes.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 5 from, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM., Eastern Star Service at 7:00 PM  at Farus Funeral Home of New Concord.  Services will be Wednesday, March 6 at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in New Concord Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Mark Pierce.    In lieu of flowers, please send your gift to Hospice of Central Ohio in her name.
