Laurie Amy Dingey

Laurie “Amy” Dingey, 57 of Newark, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 23, 2018 surrounded by her loving family, while under the care of Genesis Hospice at the Morrison House.

Amy was born in Zanesville on July 1, 1961. She is the daughter of Donald E. and Shirley (Farley) Veyon. She graduated from Philo High School in 1979 and then got her degree from Ohio University in Zanesville. She worked as an Occupational Therapist for a Nursing Home in Thornville. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved the outdoors, including hunting, fishing and gardening. She was an administrator for the School of Kingdom Ministry. She is a faithful member of the Alive Vineyard Church in Newark, where she served on the worship team.

Amy is survived by her husband, Robert Dingey Jr. whom she married October 1, 2010; her two sons, Tim (Trish) Loomis and Jason (Misty) Loomis, both of Duncan Falls; her step-children, Timothy (Catherine) Dingey of Salmon, ID; her grandchildren, Parker and Preslee Loomis and Lucas and Madeline Dingey; her siblings, Jeffrey (Tammy) Veyon, Kim (Marc) Thomas, Robin (Buck) Buchanan all of Zanesville and her fur-babies Barney, Brandi, Winnie and Boogie.

Amy is preceded in death by her late husband, Tim Lescalleet; her grandparents, Kathryn Dickson, Arthur Veyon, Ocie and Richard Spung.

In keeping with her wishes, a Memorial Service will be held 11 am, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Vineyard Church, 7602 Stewart Road, Newark, Ohio 43055.
