Larry A. Taylor

Larry A. Taylor, 71 of Zanesville passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2017 while under the care of Genesis Hospice at the Morrison House.
Larry was born in Matoaka, West Virginia on October 4, 1946. He is the son of the late William A.B. and Ila Virginia (Gunter) Taylor. He was a 1964 Graduate of Philo High School. He previously worked for Longaberger Company and for Dollar General and most recently the Avon Distribution Center. He served his country in the US Navy.
Larry is survived by his two children Melissa (Dave) Albert of Lancaster and Shaun Allen Taylor of Deltona, FL; his grandchildren, Bethany (Gerson) De La Cruz, Kristen Albert, Allison Albert and Gianna Marie Taylor; his siblings, Quincy (Sandy) Taylor of Titusville, FL, Ray (Ruth Ann) Taylor of Pomeroy, OH, Norma Rowland of Belmont, Shelby Diaz of Duncan Falls, Barbara Dodd of Zanesville, Sharon Locke of Frazeysburg; an uncle Earl Taylor of Zanesville and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours for Larry from 3 to 5 pm on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday with Pastor Dave Albert officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery with full military honors provided by George Selsam Post #1058 VFW and American Legion Post #29.
