Larry Tabler
August 24, 1947 — July 11, 2017
Larry G. Tabler, 69 of Cumberland, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours for July 11, 2017 with his family by his side and under the care of Hospice of Guernsey County.
Larry was born in Zanesville on August 24, 1947. He is the son of Margaret B. Simson. He worked for NCR as a technician for 18 years and then for Energizer Battery in Marietta. He is a member of the Cumberland Pilgrim Church; he enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and most especially he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Lois “Dusty” Tabler whom he married in 1976; his daughter Maggie Morris of Cumberland; his three grandchildren Dylan, Logan and Faith and his two sisters-in-law Kathy Jackson and Donna Ritchie both of WV.
In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his Brother-in-law John Ritchie.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 11 to 1 pm on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Cumberland Pilgrim Chapel, 712 East Main Street, Cumberland, OH 43732. Funeral Services will begin at 1 pm with Greg Thacker officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Cumberland Cemetery.
