Larry L. Pletcher

Larry L. Pletcher, 75 of Philo, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, January 10, 2025.

Larry was born on June 30, 1949, in Zanesville. He is the son of the late Clarence Sr. and Mary (Search) Pletcher. Larry worked for United Technology and Lear Corporation on Linden for over forty years before retiring. Larry was an avid outdoorsman that loved to fish and take care of his animals. He enjoyed painting, and helped out several of his friends with painting their houses. Larry loved everyone he met, and was a very generous man who always helped out when he could.

Larry is survived by his companion, Lorena K. (Mayle) Pletcher; his siblings, Hazel Boyer, Shirley Pletcher, Brenda Pletcher, Richard (Carol) Pletcher, and Eddie Pletcher; as well as many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his first wife, Sheila E. Pletcher, who passed away on November 22, 2015; and his siblings, Bill Pletcher, Mike Pletcher, David Pletcher, Paul Pletcher, Clarence Pletcher, Mickey Pletcher, and James Pletcher.

Visitations will be from 3 pm to 5 pm on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. A funeral service for Larry will be held at 1 pm the following day at the funeral home. Pastor Tom Barton will officiate the service. Larry will be laid to rest in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
