Larry E. Mclain

Lawrence E. “Larry” McLain, 80 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Friday, April 28, 2017 at his residence.
Larry was born in Zanesville on October 10, 1936. He is the son of the late Raymond and Mary (Wheeler) McLain. He was the owner and operator of McLain Auto and Truck Upholstery for 48 years. He was a member of the Zanesville American Legion Post #29 and he served his country in the US Army.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Connie McLain, whom he married in 1968, and his daughter Lynette McLain of Zanesville. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dale McLain.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 11 to 1 pm Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord. Funeral Services will begin at 1 pm with Pastor Joe DiVincenzo officiating. Military Honors will be conducted at the funeral home, following the funeral service, by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
