Larry K. Taylor

Larry K. Taylor, 70 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2024, at the Genesis Hospice surrounded by his loving family.

Larry was born on March 11, 1954, in Zanesville. He is the son of the late Roy R. and Anna L. (King) Taylor. Larry owned and operated Taylor and Sons Excavating. He eventually went on to work for Newton Township, where he retired from. Larry was a part of the Finks Harley Davidson Club, he loved riding his motorcycle with his wife. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #302 in Zanesville. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Larry is survived by his wife, Linda D. (Whissel) Taylor, whom he married on 1977; his three sons, Jason Taylor, Troy Taylor, and Aaron Taylor; his grandchildren, Eli, Lexie, Makenzie, Macie, Steele, Cole, Ali, and Ryder; his siblings, Vicki (Bill) Thomas, Linda (Phil) Kinner, and Terry (Betty) Taylor; his several nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Carol Whissel; as well as many friends.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Jacque Taylor, who passed away in 2019; as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Monday, October 28, 2024, at the Stovertown Lutheran Church Cemetery, where Larry will be laid to rest. Pastor Al Laese will officiate the service.
