Larry D. Dingey

Larry D. Dingey, 65 of Blue Rock passed away unexpectedly on December 1, 2022 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Larry was born in Zanesville on February 17, 1957.  He is the son of the late Robert D. and Evelyn P. (Flowers) Dingey.  Larry worked most of his life as a self-employed carpenter.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors and in his younger years he enjoyed hunting.  He loved to be around people and leaves behind many dear friends.

Larry is survived by his two daughters, Megan (Jesse Martin) Dingey and Heather Dingey; his three grandchildren, Natalie Martin, Wyatt Martin and Kash Garber; his companion, Betty Jo Bernardi; his brothers, Gary (Debbie) Dingey and Mike (Monica) Dingey; his special friend, Mark Demster; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by the mother of his children, Nancy Fusner, who passed away in 2014.

Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Monday, December 5, 2022 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.  Funeral services will be 11 am on Tuesday with a cremation to follow.  Pastor Steve Harrop will officiate the service.
