L. Joan Ault
November 30, 1935 — December 27, 2017
Lois “Joan” Ault, 82, of Duncan Falls passed away on December 27, 2017 at her residence while under the care of Genesis Hospice.
Joan was born in Coshocton, Ohio on November 30, 1935. She is the daughter of the late William D Wolfe and Margaret Henderson. She graduated from Philo High School in 1953 and from the Meridth Business College in 1954. She retired from the Franklin Local School District in 1998 where she worked at the Duncan Falls Elementary for 32 years as a secretary.
Joan is survived by her husband, Denny Jr. Ault whom she married March 5, 1957; her children Jeffrey A. (Patty) Ault of Fultonham, Gregory D. (Sherry) Ault of Zanesville and Steven L. (Anna) Ault of Grove City; her 6 grandchildren, her 3 great-grandchildren; her brother Jerry (Pat) Henderson and her special dog Payne.
In addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her sister, Peggy McConaha.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 11 to 1 pm Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held at 1 pm with Rev. Karen Osborn officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
