Obituary

Kevin E. Kinney, 65 of Adamsville, passed away at Genesis Hospital on Sunday, May 31, 2026, with his loving wife and family by his side.

Kevin was born on April 27, 1961, in Zanesville. He is the son of Lila Kinney and the late Chuck Kinney. Kevin worked at Avon as a yard jockey until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music- especially Jim Morrison, as well as cheering on his favorite football teams, the L.A. Rams and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Kevin is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Sandy J. (Weaver) Kinney, whom he married on July 4; his mother, Lila; his step-son, Michael Brennan; his grandchildren, Mickala Nelson (Cody Offinger), Nathan Brennan (Heather Sharrer), Raylynn Hamilton (Braden Clark), Ryanna Taylor, and Oakley Shea; his great-grandchildren, Makaya Jane Bryne, Maverick Dene Bryne, Michael “Junior” Byrne, Gracelynn Reign Offinger, and Vincent William Clark; his siblings, Charles “Doug” Kinney, Kathy (Doug) Darr, and Pam Myer; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

In addition to his father, Kevin is preceded in death by his sister, Debra Sue Kinney; his brother-in-law, Thomas Myer; his sister-in-law, Pamela Kinney; as well as his precious step-daughter, Ronda Brennan, who passed away on October 26, 2023;

A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held from 1 PM to 5 PM on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Adamsville Community Center, 8200 Madison St, Adamsville. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Kinney family.
