Kent Woodrum

Kent Evan Woodrum (67) of Zanesville passed away at 7:39 PM, Friday, June 13th, 2014 at Genesis Healthcare in Zanesville Ohio. He was born on June 1st, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio the son of Violet (Young) Woodrum of Cambridge and the late Cecil Evan Woodrum. Kent was a member of the American Post # 29 in Zanesville, He loved motorcycles and classic cars and he had a passion for music; he loved to sing and play guitar. Kent is survived by his wife, Rita Ross Woodrum, whom he married on October 18th, 1998, a son, Trevor (Angela) Woodrum of New Lexington, a Daughter, Ellie Woodrum of the Home, two step-children, John (Amber) Higbee, and Shaina (Shuan) Hupp,a sister, Kandice (Terry) Simmons of Norwich, a sister Beth (Vince) Durant of New Concord and 10 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Cecil Evan Woodrum, and an infant brother, Kevin Woodrum. A memorial Service will be held at the Farus Funeral Home, 63 W. Main Street, New Concord, at 11am on Monday, June 16th with Pastor Jason Cole officiating.
