Kenneth E. West

Kenneth E. West, 77 of Cumberland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 9, 2018 while under the care of Genesis Hospice at the Morrison House.

Kenny was born on June 27, 1941 in Cumberland, Ohio.  He is the son of the late Dean and Georgia West.  He retired from Kokosing where he worked in construction.  He previously worked for Sidwell Brothers as a coal miner.

Kenny is survived by his wife Barbara (Hewitt) West, whom he married November 14, 1959; his four children, Debbie Crozier, Vicki Hansel, Jerry (Lisa) West and Terry (Mindy) West; his eleven grandchildren, Teira, Adrian, Anthony, Tyler, Jeremy, Danielle, Marissa, Alex, Trey, Haylee, Kole; nine great-grandchildren, Shelby, Kendole, Adrian Jr., Wesley, Alisha, Reed, Maddox, Addison and Raegan; his siblings, Ralph West, Audley (MaryLou) West, Bob West and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Kenny is preceded in death by his grandson, Scotty Hansel and his brothers, Don West, Delmar West and his sisters, Edith LeMaster, Dorothy Arnold, Jessie Mautz.

Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home, 343 W. Main Street, Cumberland, where funeral services will be 11 am on Thursday with Beverly Pottmeyer officiating.
