Keith E. Daw

Keith E. Daw, 60 of Blue Rock, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, following a tragic accident.

Keith was born on September 28, 1963 in Zanesville, Ohio. He is the son of the late Ronnie and Joy (Stewart) Daw. Keith was an incredibly hard worker who was employed by Lumber Town.  At age 15, he joined the Wayne Township Fire Department as a Junior Member. Keith has served his community on the Wayne Township Fire Department for over forty-one years, as well as being a former member of the Harrison Township Squad. Keith also served on the Duncan Falls Cemetery Association Board, and he was an Eagle Scout, a part of Troop #137. Keith’s diligent and caring heart will always be remembered by the countless lives he has impacted throughout his life. Keith loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Keith is survived by his beloved wife, Carla (Mitchell) Daw, whom he married on June 9, 1990; his children, Kade (Nevaeh) Daw of Philo, Sadie (Mathew) Mahon of Chandlersville, and Shanae (Jeremy) Shubert of Philo; his five grandchildren, Amelia, Elaina, Owen, Raven, and Asher; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Keith is preceded in death by his sister, Geneva Powell; as well as his parent-in-laws, Ralph and Mary Jane Mitchell.

Visitations for Keith will be from 12 to 2 PM and 4 to 6 PM on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at the funeral home. Pastor Tim Alexander will officiate the service. Keith will be laid to rest at Duncan Falls Cemetery.

The Wayne Township Fire Department will honor Keith for his service at the graveside.
