Kay Beanard

Kay M. Beanard, 69 of Zanesville, passed away at Grant Medical Center in Columbus on Sunday, October 23, 2016.

Kay was born in Zanesville on October 1, 1947.  She is the daughter of the late Harry and Barbara Kopchak.  She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, South Zanesville. Kay retired from the West Muskingum School District where she was a bus driver for numerous years.  Many will remember Kay as their "Avon Lady," which she was a representative for many years.

Kay is survived by her daughter Anita K. Hammersley (Dan Durborow); her grandchildren Abbie, Lacey, Kenton and Ryan; one ‘very special’ great-granddaughter Shelbie Marie; two brothers Kenneth (Terri) Kopchak and Bryan (Jodie) Kopchak and two sisters Deborah (Tim) Poulson and Ruth (Kenny) Birchfield, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Kay is preceded in death by her husband George Beanard who passed away on January 28, 2006 and a sister Jane Powers.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2:00 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1705 Pine Street, Zanesville, OH.

The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is entrusted with caring for the Beanard family.
