Julia Katherine Hinds

Julia Katherine Hinds, 80 of Zanesville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 12, 2021 while under the care of Buckeye Hospice at the Beckett House in New Concord.

Julia was born in Zanesville on January 12, 1941.  She is the daughter of the late Frederick Dietenbeck and Elojean (Thompson) Dietenbeck.  She retired from Good Samaritan Hospital where she worked as an RN in the Emergency Room.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

Julia is survived by her son, Mark Hinds; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Craig Sharrer) Hinds, Nicki Hinds, Mark Hinds, Josh (Ashley) Hinds, and Daniel Hinds; several great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; her brother, John (Jody) Dietenbeck and a special friend, Julie.

In addition to her parents, Julia is preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Byron (Debbie) Hinds and her daughter-in-law, Connie Hinds; her brother, Charles Dietenbeck and her sister, Rebecca (Frank) Carnahan.

Visitations will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11am. Pastor Rob Osburn will officiate the service. Julia will be laid to rest in St. Paul Cemetery.
