Judy E. South

Judy E. South, 75 of Philo, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2022, while at Select Specialty of Newark.

Judy was born in Columbus on January 17, 1947. She is the daughter of the late John O. and Anna Mae Lawrence. Judy proudly worked as a caregiver at Residential Incorporated of New Lexington. Judy was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, and she wasn’t a stranger to anyone. She loved to spend time outside, and especially loved to spend time with her grandkids.

Judy is survived by her children, Timothy D. (Tammie) Helsel, and James E. (Jacalyn) South;  her grandchildren, Cameron Wheeler, Ryan South, Krystian South, Grayson South, Joyona Helsel, Tra Helsel, and Elijah Helsel; her brother, Bob Lawrence; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her husband, James S. South, who passed away on June 17, 2011; her brothers, Don Lawrence, Gene Lawrence, and Norman Lawrence.

Visitations will be on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.
