Judy Bates
September 8, 1942 — March 13, 2016
Judy A. Bates, 73 of Cumberland, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2016 while under the care of Genesis Hospice at the Morrison House.
Judy was born in Zanesville on September 8, 1943; the daughter of the late Charles W. and Ida Moore. She previously worked for Gracie’s Groceries in Cumberland and for March Electric. She was a member of the Cumberland United Methodist Church and she was very active in the Cumberland Community.
Judy is survived by her daughter Lisa (Jerry) West of Cumberland, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and her brother Jerry (Janie) Moore of Cumberland.
In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her two sons Scott and Donnie Bates and her brother Charles Eugene Moore.

A memorial service for Judy will be held at 5 pm Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Cumberland United Methodist Church, 437 West Main Street, Cumberland, OH.
