Joyce M. Clapper

Joyce M. Clapper, 82 of Zanesville and formerly of Blue Rock, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2020 at Genesis Hospital while under the care of Genesis Hospice.

Joyce was born on October 30, 1937 in Zanesville.  She is the daughter of the late Lawrence and Gertrude (Williamson) Clapper.

Joyce is survived by her son, Dale (Nancy) New of Zanesville; her grandchildren, Jesika (Joseph) Sellars, Amber New, Justin Hampton, Dale New Jr., Zachary New, Jeffrey New, Timothy New, Tonya Tabler and Misty Lovejoy; numerous great grandchildren; her great-great grandchildren; and her brother, Virgil Clapper.

Visitations will be 11 am to 12 (noon) on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the graveside in Chandlersville Cemetery.  An outside funeral will take place at the graveside at 12 (noon) with Phil Walker officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Chandlersville Cemetery and the Farus Funeral Home is caring for the Clapper family.
