Joseph A. Smith

Joseph Allen Smith, 47 of New Concord, passed away on December 26, 2017 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

Joe was born on August 16, 1970 in Elkins, WV.  He is the son Mary Winan and the late Frederick Smith.  Joe was a family man who loved to cook and spend time in the Kitchen.  He loved to dance while he cooked.  He loved sports, especially the 49ers and the West Virginia Mountaineers.  Joe was never in a hurry and his since of humor kept us in stitches all the time!

Joe is survived by his wife, Cheryl Smith, whom he married August 2, 1996; his children Dylan and Tiersten; his sister Susan Gerkin and his brother Jamie Smith.

Private family visitations and funeral services have been held.
