Joseph L. Harvey

Joseph L. Harvey, age 76, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025, at Adams Lane Health Care and Rehabilitation.

Born on August 20, 1948, in Storm Lake, Iowa, Joseph was the son of the late Lloyd Linnwood Harvey and Laurel (McKell) Barrett. He worked as an over-the-road truck driver, a profession that allowed him to embrace his love for traveling. Joseph was also a talented guitarist and a kind-hearted, generous man who never hesitated to help those in need. Proudly, he served his country in the United States Army.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Penne T. (Dillinger) Harvey, whom he married on June 27, 1998. He is also survived by his sister, Susan Ang; two children, Wendy Petersen and Jeremy (Pam) Harvey; grandchildren, Emmett Harvey, Quillan Harvey, Michael (Susan) Groth and Trevor Groth; great grandchildren, Michael and Charley.

A graveside service will be held at 3PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Zanesville. Pastor Wade Coffee will officiate the service. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is honored to assist the Harvey family during this time. Military honors will be provided by The George Selsam VFW Post #1058.
