Joseph "Joe" F. Chambers

Joseph “Joe” F. Chambers, 62, of Philo, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Genesis Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on November 10, 1962, in Zanesville, Joe was the beloved son of the late Paul E. and Sally J. (Martin) Chambers. He spent much of his career working at Ballast Egg Factory in Zanesville as well as Kieser Aluminum in Newark, and various other jobs where he specialized in making engine parts for trains. He even attended the Czech Republic for training new employees, which he considered a highlight of his career.

Joe had a knack for fixing and creating, spending countless hours tinkering in his garage and welding. He found joy in simple pleasures like car rides, fishing, playing softball with his brothers, and sharing laughter and memories with family and friends. His humor and warmth brightened the lives of everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his fiancée, Nancy J. Neira; his siblings, Marilyn Chambers, Isaac Chambers, and Mike (Jackie) Chambers; his cherished nieces and nephews, including Nikki, Tierra, Stephanie, Braylee, and Brandon, Melissa, Shelly, and Steven; his great-nieces, including one who he played a big part in raising, Addy, as well as great-nephews, and dear friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Sally.
