John C. Seyerle

John Seyerle, 50 of Blue Rock, passed away July 27, 2014 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens Ohio following a brief illness. John was born in Bellaire, Ohio on March 5th 1964, the son of Robert C. and Sandra J. Seyerle of Philo. He formerly worked as a truck driver and is a member of the St. Johns Lutheran Church of Stovertown. John was known for his wood working talents having made many items from walking sticks to his granddaughter's toy box. In addition to his parents, John is survived by his three boys Casey (Alice) Seyerle of Zanesville, Charles Seyerle of Zanesville and Kyle Seyerle of Kansas City, MO; his two grandchildren Dominick Kirkbride and Peyton Seyerle; his brother Thomas Seyerle of Philo and his two sisters Susan (David) Hannan of Pickerington and Phyllis Burress of Philo and a special friend Donna Farley. In keeping with John's wishes his body will be cremated and the family will hold a memorial service at the St. Johns Lutheran Church in Stovertown at a later date.
