John G. Huddleston

John G. Huddleston Sr., 87, of Blue Rock, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 6, 2022 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

John was born on July 23, 1934 in Chenoa, KY.  He is the son of the late Lillie (Burnett) and Anthony Pomnichowski.  He worked for the Ohio Ferro Alloy and also as a security guard for the Colony Square Mall.  He enjoyed farming and watching the deer, but most especially he loved spending time with his family.

John is survived by his children, Sue Cade, John (Chris) Huddleston Jr. and Toni Huddleston; his five grandchildren; his eighteen great grandchildren; his great-great grandson; his two sisters, Betty (Don) Pare and Margaret Hornick; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Anna M. Huddleston, who passed away April 10, 2020; and his brother, Richard Huddleston.

Visitations will be 11 to 1 pm on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at the Farus Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 1 pm.  Pastor Jamie Harrop will officiate the service.  He will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
