John Stanley Harris

August 14, 1949 — July 20, 2018

John Stanley Harris, 68, formerly of Philo, passed away on July 20, 2018 at Echoing Meadows in Athens, Ohio.

John was born in Zanesville on August 14, 1949. He is the son of Glenn Clifford and Lois Jean (DeGarmo) Harris and he attended the First United Methodist Church in Athens.

John is survived by his two brothers, James F. Harris and Gregory Harris, his sister, Glenna Pope and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 11 am on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Duncan Falls Cemetery, with Pastor Dee Raider officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his parents.
