John Charles Anderson

John C. Anderson, 71, of New Concord passed away on Friday, June 7th, 2019, at his home after a two year battle with cancer.  John was born in Zanesville on January 29th, 1948, to the late John N. and Clarrice Anderson.  John worked as a self-employed truck driver for over thirty years; for the last three years of his career, he worked for Buckeye Water.

John is survived by his wife, Sharon Anderson, his son, Scott Anderson, two granddaughters, Brittany (Bryan) Carpenter and Karlie Anderson, as well as his twin great-grandsons, Colton and Weston Carpenter, two great-granddaughters, Kendelyn and Kynleigh Anderson, and his Mother-in-law, Marjorie Roller.   He is preceded in death by his parents, his son, John Mark Anderson, and his sister, Johanna (Anderson) Shrigley.

Per John’s wishes, a cremation will be observed with no additional services at this time.  Thanks are given to Genesis Hospice and the James Cancer Center for the love and care they provided to both John and his family. Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for John and his services.
