Joann Heinz

JoAnn Heinz, 79 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2017 while under the care of Genesis Hospice at the Morrison House.
JoAnn was born on July 31, 1937 in Morgan County. She is the daughter of the late James W. and Florence (Brown) Mahon. She retired in 1994 from Brockway Glass and then she went to work at Shrivers Pharmacy on Brighton. She was an avid shopper and she loved her family and her grandchildren and she attended Fair Oaks Baptist Church.
JoAnn is survived by her son Randy Heinz of WI and her daughter Vicki Jo Mentzel of WI; her grandchildren; her great-grandchildren and a special granddaughter Jamie (Todd Alexander) Pride; special great-granddaughters Kaelynne and Adisan Thompson and one special great-great granddaughter Nalani Thompson.
In addition to her parents, JoAnn is preceded in death by her two sons Robert and Ricky Heinz.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be held 1 pm Friday. She will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
